Two more again today. Am I on a roll or what!? I did another monochromatic painting, but decided to take a break and go back to a little more colour. I intend to do a brunette as well, but it will be trickier to make that pop against the black and white and I wanted to experiment with brown hair first. I think I have a plan now. On the brunette I did today I used Stewart Gill Byzantia in a sort of coppery/golden tone for highlights. This really brightened the hair and I think could hold its own with a monochromatic background. I have included several details shots so you get a sense of the texture and depth of colour in each of these pieces.
